Satan and Ryo Asuka are one and the same. Satan took the form of a human to observe humanity better. One day, he would
lead the devils back to becoming rulers of the world. Humanity was doomed and he knew it. In his devil form, Satan possesses
the genitals of both man and woman. He as eight wings on his back, two on his head and one on each heel. Satan possesses great
psychic powers and he used them on himself to keep his devil persona asleep until he was needed to begin the Apocalypse. Satan
is in love with Devilman though. This love was developed through all the human interactions between Ryo and Akira
ZENON
The powerful demon that other demons pray to, Zenon is the three-headed devil who leads the devil forces
against Devilman. Zenon is able to launch a nuclear missile to start World War III. Of course, Satan is the true leader and
Zenon will not question Satan's rule.

PSYCHOGENIE
PsychoGenie uses her powers to put Devilman to sleep. While he sleeps, Zenon is able to launch his nuclear missile. PsychoGenie
also uses her powers to awaken the sleeping Satan within Ryo. She is Satan's right hand and has power enough to stop the mighty
Amon himself.

In the 1972 TV series Zannin is the first devil general sent by Zenon to destroy Devilman. He looks like a weird
combination of a wolf and a rat and uses his tail as a whip to beat down not only his foes but also demons who fail him.
In the Mao Dante TV series Zannin appears as the "inner circle" demon who betrays Dante. Oddly enough in Mao Dante he is called
"Zenon" by name.

GELMER
Gelmer is a devil with power over water. He is sent by Sirene to attack Miki. In truth, he is fodder sent
by Sirene to weaken Devilman so that she may finish him off with ease.

JINMEN
Jinmen is a devil with a shell like turtle. However, the shell has the faces of all the humans he's ever
consumed. Instead of killing them, they remain alive as a part of him. In the manga, Miki's niece falls victim to Jinmen.
In the OAV, it is Akira's mother.
